It is incredibly disturbing that Craig Counsell and Royce Clayton form the double-play combo and hit 1st and 2nd for the Diamondbacks. I guess it's unfortunate they couldn't acquire EY and Lenny Harris, too, or they'd have the complete set.

Daron Sutton has a mancrush on every catcher in baseball. If Craig Counsell was a catcher, he'd have to file a restraining order... I don't think Daron can come within 100 yards of Jason Kendall or Paul LoDuca, actually.

If only someone would teach him a cutter. He'd be invincible.

I think expecations were a little too high for a guy who has just about 100 innings above A ball.

Had he been ready to pitch as a major league starter, I doubt the Braves would have let him go.

He'll be fine. Let him get experience at Nashville.

On my 10th try I finally got Daron to call Russell "the Muscle" Branyan.

My day is complete, time to crack open a green beer.

My mission tomorrow is to get him to say Russell the Muscle Branyan, Pope of the church of 3TO.

Thanks for the explanation Square.

Hmm, me likey the 3TO. Maybe that's because I prefer Branyan 5-to-1 over the leading "Yost" brand 3rd-baseman, Mr. Helms. Then again, that seems to be the popular choice among Brewerfan-ites.
