According to the notes, "IN THE PEN: Following Davis to the mound today will be RHP Ricky Bottalico (#52), LHP Tommy Phelps (#41), LHP Jorge De La Rosa (#47) and

LHP Dana Eveland (#50)."

Imagine they'll try to get around 90 pitches or 6 innings out of Doug's final Spring Training tune-up?

just bought all access for a month long test drive last night..

At first it performed like absolute crap.. i typed a long email and sent it off to mlb.com or whatever their cust. serv. goes through.. then called this morning for a different reason and a lady not even on tech support gave me a quick fix that actually worked wonders..

I now LOVE MLB.TV and will also be getting NFL Field Pass this year if it is anything like the baseball version.

For everyone with just the radio pass.. i encourage you to try this out..

That's great news, thanks for sharing SBS.

Just so people in the area know, seats are really cheap, as no seat in the house is more than $15. I'm sitting in the third row on the OF side of the Brewers dugout, hoping to have a chance to chat with Dana and whomever else strolls by. For $15, I'll be able to upgrade my parking so I don't have to walk through the rain as much.

It's funny, I tell people I'm going to the game tonight and they ask, "Bucks?," having no clue about the Brewers in town. Why weren't these games promoted more than what they were?

Oh well. I'll be there, and I hope to share some pictures early next week.

Anyone who knows anything about MLB.tv - please anwser...

Is 350K the best you can get for the baseball package? 500K possible?? When I watched the preview it was okay, but when I went full screen, the quality was not something I could live with for a full season...

Can't believe I didn't go to this game tonight. My wife is gone and I am here alone. I just thought that I was so excited for baseball to begin, that an exhibition game would be a downer. Boy was I wrong. Does anyone think I could get in after 3 or 4 innings have gone by (and do they charge for parking?)

Davis has gone 4 innings and allowed 2 hits, no walks and has struck out 5 so far. Still 3-0 Crew after 4.

Edit:

DD pulled after 4.1 IP, with the bases loaded. Phelps gives up a weak ground ball that scores a run and a foul out. 3-1 Crew after 4.5.

Edit:

Hardy robbed of another extra-base hit by Rowand.

Looks like Magruder has slimmed down some. His swing looks a little smoother, too.

Edit:

Looks like goatees are the Brewers' thing this year. Hardy looks about 8 years older than when I talked with him 3 years ago.

I just bought MLB.tv for a month to test it out, pretty decent so far on a cable connection.

Bottom 5th: (3-1 Good Guys)

Hermanson in to pitch

Hardy: Ran the count full, FO8 - great diving catch

Magruder: K looking

Clark: K swinging 3 pitches

Top 6th (3-1 Brewers)

Bottalico in to pitch

Everett: K swinging, bad looking swing on 1-2 count

Konerko: BB 4 pitches

Dye: K swinging, again ugly swing

Rowand: K swinging, struck out the side.

Bottom 6th: (3-1 Brew Crew)

Spivey: E5 (Took 2nd on WP)

Overbay: K looking on full count

Lee: K looking 3 pitches

Marte in to pitch

Jenkins: Popup to 2nd, end inning

Top 7th: (3-1 Crew)

I like what Ned just did with Phelps. He knows what Davis can do, and for those can't see the game, Davis pitched very well. Ned gave Phelps the type of experience he would have in a regular season, pitching to a lefty with the bases loaded. I wonder if this means Phelps is still in the running to be one of the 11?

Why did it take 4 innings for Hawk and DJ to figure out that Davis throws cutters?
