Just a couple days ago I was being ripped for not being Mr. Positive on the Brewers and all their great success against the Mighty Pirates. Now reality is setting in against a real team and All the Positive World Series types are feeling a little down.

Face the facts-- the Brewers are just a poor team that will dwell with other 2 or 3 bad teams in the NL again.

Suppan beats the Brewers because he knows they will get anxious and swing at his pitch. Spivey is perfect example, but even Overbay swung at a 3-1 sinker going away. Too anxious. The guy has average stuff and he is shutting us out. Lineup 6-9 is pretty lame though. Hardy isn't much better than a pitcher at this point. Moeller- ugh.

Ol' Man Remlinger coughs up the lead in the 8th...

He must always be referred to as Mr. Greybeard, straight out of those lame Just For Men commercials with Keith Hernandez.

At least something good happened today.

simple question, why are there two earned runs off sheets? runner on via error. Then a single puts 1 on first, 1 out (in scorebook terms). Then an out, so 2 outs. Then the bunt hit/error would move runner to third, if not for the error. Then an out. So to me, the runner should have gotten to third AT BEST
