Marquette students: Does any Marq. Bars have a shuttle to the game? Muphy's, The Annex, Caff's

No, but the MCTS brewers shuttle picks up right outside of McCormick Hall.

And who here (besides me) is a Marquette student/alum?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

A quick Cardinals note as it relates to MVP Baseball 2005:

Scott Rolen bats leadoff (??!!??). Yadier Molina is the worst major-league hitter I've seen in the game so far. And Ben Sheets shut them out on four hits. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

I love that game.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Branyan probably profiles better against Carpenter and Marquis. Carpenter was never any good until he somehow managed to turn it around in the NL. Marquis is a hard-thrower with great movement. But neither rely on command like Suppan, so they seem more likely to serve one up

Now that's some ridiculousness. What is Yost, Dusty Baker? Deciding to sit a better player because of a "matchup" that's based on nine at-bats?

He's 0 for 9 with 5 Ks lifetime against Suppan.

Those ABs came, ahem, in 2000 and 2002 while Branyan was an Indian and Suppan was a Royal. Both guys are different players than they were then, and I sincerely doubt that those at-bats are representative of Branyan's "true talent" against Suppan.

Anyway, let's get it on.

EDIT: Thanks, endaround. Daron just said it was because of Branyan's struggles against Suppan. Hopefully you're right and he's wrong.

I guess Ned said there's something wrong with Branyan's throwing arm. That might have played a part, too.
Ned said 'sore shoulder, nothing serious' on the pre-game show; he said nothing about Suppan. Russ may rest a day or two.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Yeah, thanks Bruce.

I hope he's OK.

Doesn't say much for Helms, though, that he can't even break into the lineup as a late replacement, eh?

I can't believe Brady Clark swung at the first pitch in the first inning. That's like the first time he's ever done that, and that. What was he thinking and that?

You know, and that.

Eh?
