He is a good guy, and a friend of mine. I used to work with him in Eau Claire, and he was in my wedding.

I'm not married, but if I was I would say the same thing about Keith Ginter and Russell Branyan. Except the friend part. And the Eau Claire part.

Nevermind.

Nothing like a battle for first place between two titans of the National League's Central Division. Hopefully Sheets can rebound after a bit of a sub-par start and give Milwaukee a commanding lead over the Red Birds.

Whoever wins this series will have have the inside track towards leading the division on May 1.

I see that Brady is 5-8 lifetime against Suppan, with a couple dingers. He's been doing great for us so far this year, so hopefully he'll have a big night.

Oh, and Carlos is going to hit a dinger tonight. Brewers win 6-4.

I'm with bigjase, this is the beginning of the Carlos we saw in Spring Training. He's going to rise up against the Mighty Cards and do his best Vlads/Pujols impersonation.

also, would be nice to see Clark and Jenkins continue to heat up after slow starts at the plate. And Spivey, well, he's been either 0-4 w/3 K's or 3-5 with a couple of clutch hits

I predict there will be many predictions in this thread, and that the few lucky ones to guess right will let us know about it in a subsequent post http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

O yeh, I think Sheets is going to get lit up. Hope I'm wrong!

I'm really looking forward to this game as well!!

Gonna go and buy bleacher seats or maybe terrace reserves.

Gotta take advantage of that college id deal while I can!

Sheets is gonna have a great game!

but he makes a great avatar!

Ugh. Please go back to the Sausage. Brainerd may be the nicest guy in the verse, but I sicken when his image taints my eyes, especially when he despoils the beauty of my 55" Sony LCD TV. The only saving grace is the pause button provided by my Sage driven HTPC.

Who are they trying to market to with the cornball skits that often overlap the action on the field? I don't blame him, obviously someone wants him do this during the game. I think I am starting to hate him more than Geno despises Brady Clark.

BTW: Commander Keen is the only character that makes a great Avatar.

Jeez, can I come over to your house and watch the game?

I predict that Albert Pujols will be good.

Funny you bring up HTPC..... let me take my reply to this into an off-topic thread.....

Brainerd's thick Muhwaukee accent really doesn't translate to TV very well.

I predict Ben Sheets gets more than one standing ovation.

how does the media view this game?

Crew should win becuase of Sheets and the New brewers

STL whould win becuase of the bats and being last years #1

Suprising enough the book makers have STL as the underdongs in this game. There was not one game last year vs STL where that was the case.

I'd like to see Ben strike out Pujols...everyone's been freaking out about how Albert hasn't struck out all of spring training and all year long.

Sheets has the most strikeouts vs. pujols I think.

Hopefully a big night for Ben.
