interesting to see no Jenkins in there today. Less power today with Magruder and Cirillo in there. Of course, Magruder can flat out hit...I just always worry about his defense, especially with the afternoon game sun.

I think you need to get Budweiser out of your rotation.

I thought Magruder was terrible as a left hand bat. So he starts in place of Jenks against a right hander. Just checking Chris was .250 obp and .264 slugging v righties last year. Using my calculator I come up with .514 OPS.

Have we got down to Ned 'guessing' and going by 'hunches'.

This is again proving that Ned would rather manage to prove himself right rather than learn and grow. I guess only the players are supposed to learn and improve. Ned already knows it all. And he will PROVE IT.

You know Ned as a rah rah, hunch manager was ok when our team was just terrible. But when you have a little talent to manage you need to manage it - not just rah rah, hunch it.

Man, Scott Rolen looked absolutely terrible during that entire at-bat. Then he crushed one into the Brewers bullpen, and quickly jogged around the bases with his head down.

It sure is hard to dislike him.

Well, how am I supposed to read a 1:14 post when I posted at 1:14.

Secondly, Ned has managed just like I point out. So, without information to know otherwise, Ned has the spotlight on him.

Finally, what sort of roster is this that we suddenly have NO LEFT handers to bat or on the bench. But we have pitchers that see 1 inning a week.

All these things need to be managed. Other teams can manage their rosters. We should be able to manager ours.
