comon you guys, it's 8:15am, and there's no game thread yet?? what in white smoke from the vatican is going on here?

i haven't worn a brewers shirt to class since the last win, and they're 4-0 when i wear brewers shirts, so i've decided to wear 2 today. i will not be able to watch this one unfortunately, because i will be tooting my tuba at the varsity band concert in madison.

I've never made a prediction before, but i'm making one now.

Brewers win 3-2.

They also take 3 of next 4 including this game. Then take 1 of 3 in St. Louis and 2 of 3 in Cincy.

That's right, I said it. 6-4 in their next ten. Bring us to 11-13. It's a start.

The Rally Caps Lock worked well in the chat room the other day (Overbay's three run double came with it on). Maybe it is time to pull out all the stops and ask people to get them on in the game thread?

If we're pulling out all the stops. I think we might need a cheese sandwich w/pickles picture posted in this thread sometime soon. That definitely ignited the rally on Monday.

Last night, I dosed off in my recliner after Sheets threw that errant knuckledball to Overbay and had a dream/vision. In this dream, Jervey Lopster appeared and said "don't worry! This team has the potential for a 20 win month."

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

once again, the pitching matchup appears against us. Then throw in that they have the better lineup, and I'd say our chances of winning are about 35%.

Do we at least get to miss out on Jason Schmidt next series?

Friday:

Santos Vs. Rueter

Saturday:

Capuano Vs. Tomko

Sunday:

Glover Vs. Williams

I like our chances. The Giants aren't playing all that well right now, and The Muscle will be in the house, though he might not start till saturday.

Maybe I can try and polish off an eighteen pack of High Life. Then if they lose I won't remember the game anyway.

Now you're talking! I'll be avoiding misery by going to see Sin City tonight. However, on Saturday, I'll be raising my tall glass of High Life Lite every chance I get. Either that, or throwing it at my tv. Haven't decided yet.

I think this is one team that the brewers have as good a lineup as. That Houston lineup is just anemic, couple has beens and a bunch of never weres.
