Just thought I'd add for the Moeller debate yesterday....how come the Cubs can ship off a washed up reliever for two decent prospects and we can't find a way to trade for a halfway decent catcher?

Are you telling me we couldn't trade Santana/Phelps (or someone else along those lines) for a backup cather who hits in the .250 range? Chad must have pictures of Yost/Melvin because getting rid of him seems all too easy.

Jeff Cirillo's back spasms place Bill Hall at third base today! Spivey batting 2nd -- oh, well...

Cirillo strained his back yesterday, Branyan is banged up and has struggled.

That leaves Helms or Hall to play 3B today.

Overbay has struggled against the lefties, which is probably why Helms is at 1B.

Looks like Junior K has to play today. :http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

I think Hall and Spivey should at least be switched in the batting order though.

I like the Wes Helms start. But I totally disagree with not starting Cirillo! The guy pounds lefties, and this is a lefty who needs to get pounded. And if Bill Hall makes a costly error, I might be a little upset. Of course, I won't be as upset as yesterday after the Spivey error. I usually have no problem at all moving on, but that error haunts me. Sheets just DEALT last night! He gives up two hits, and he takes the loss. But today is a new day, and we have quite the bench today. Here's hoping we don't have to tap it.
