The dreaded tough lefty in Randy Wolf...this is one of those awkward/difficult games for me to watch...I have Randy Wolf on my fantasy baseball team...I wouldn't mind the Brewers hanging a crooked number on him though...it's a mixed blessing having one of your pitchers face the Brewers

Are you kidding? I would pick up Mike Maroth and Jeremy Bonderman and put them in my starting lineup if they were facing the Brewers.

You're in rare form tonight, David. I think that's four scathing posts in the last fifteen minutes... did your dog die or something? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hmm. 7-0 game in the bottom of the sixth. Very unlikely that the Phillies will comeback. What better chance to get Enrique Cruz a few at-bats and a few innings on defense?

I swear, I don't know what Yost is thinking (or if he is at all).

I think Yost has decided he's done embarassing Cruz. Enrique is so overmatched its funny, giving him atbats doesn't help his development, it only further destroys his confidance. Cruz should be used only as a pinch runner and defensive replacement.

why have him pitch the 8th?

Who knows? They have Brooks up in the pen and he will likely come on at the first sign of trouble. Why not have him bat and then stay on to pitch? Or again, why not give Enrique an at-bat in a non-critical situation?

This is especially strange considering Kinney's last start in which Yost pulled him very early. I'm sure he's trying to save the bullpen, but two innings for Kieschnick won't exactly kill the staff.

Tonight looks good on so many fronts:

- Beating up a wild card contender (2 in a row)

- Beating up a lefty

- Not being the team getting whooped 10-0 sure feels nice for a change.

- Winning at homehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
