Is there a way we can keep our young guys away from Butch Wynegar? I would hate to see Weeks get corrupted by this guys teachings.

I totally agree! I know that Wynegar isnt going anywhere but I think the blame eventually has to go somewere for our anemic offense.

What exactly are you blaming Butch for?

Is he swinging the bat?

Do you "blame" him for Clark and Hall then, too?

What the hell. What the hell. I am sick of this crap. Why the heck do we score 3 runs today when we are facing one of the better pitchers and give up 6 runs and score 1 yesterday when we face a rookie and only give up 2 runs? I don't get it.

I'm sorry to be a real downer here, but is there anyone besides me getting a morbid, sick sence of pleasure watching both Glover and Phelps get smoked. (Well, for me its mainly Glover).

Also, anyone get the feeling that despite Glover's pitiful preformance this year and especially of late, that he will probably be trotted out to the mound every fifth day for the next month and a half? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif

I cant believe I'm saying this but if Helms isn't playing at first base tomorrow, especially with a lefty in Randy Johnson pitching for the Yanks, I'll be really disappointed!

Of Helms' last ten hits, seven are doubles.

Helms should start tomorrow.

End, you beat me to it. With the team struggling to score runs like the Brewers are, it doesn't make any sense not to start Helms at third, as he has been hot lately. His OPS is approaching .900, while JC's is approaching .700. Time to make that switch.

I'd be shocked if Jenkins or Lyle started tomorrow against Johnson. We can use them for late inning PH opps. and they have little chance against Johnson. Helms is a no-brainer the way O is hitting, and fielding.
