JJ's just missed about 4 others so far this year. I see him finishing with 10-15 jacks, and that's only the beginning.

was listening to the Phil's announcers in the car. Sounded like Weeks was robbed in AB #1, and given a gift hit by Utley in #2

I didn't see his first AB, but the second was a humpback liner over second... he got jammed and just fisted it over Utley's head. Spivey might have gotten to it, but I wouldn't call it a gift.

His bat speed, BTW, is unreal.

I agree...Rickie's strength will probably surprise many fielders this year. Utley kind of backpeddled instead of turning and trying to run it down. Rickie's been making fielder's look helpless in AAA all year. He muscled that ball to the outfield grass when for most it probably doesn't get out of the infield.

Even with (or because of?) those big white wristbands, his forearms look like Popeye's. He is incredibly strong... whatever workout schedule he's on, most of the other Brewers would do well to model it.

It's going to take a miracle for that not to be the ballgame right there............

How sad is that? We're down by a run with three more chances to take the lead and it feels like there is about a 1% chance of us scoring another run.

If we're not winning the game in the late innings I feel as if we have no shot, no matter what the score is. Whether we're down 2-1, 9-2, or even tied 3-3....the Brewers end up on the losing end.
