Rluzinski- Copied from MLB.com

Also aching: Third baseman Russell Branyan continues to receive treatment for soreness in his right shoulder and was not in the lineup against Twins left-hander and reigning American League Cy Young winner Johan Santana. According to Yost, Branyan feels more pain while hitting than while throwing, and the injury is causing him to lift more flyball outs.

Wow, Bill thinks Colorado has a great offense. Those away splits says otherwise, atleast so far this year.

As for Branyan, I guess it's kinda good to hear he's a bit hurt, since he's looked pretty darn bad lately.

2 on, no out for Cap. Come on, we need to win this one.

Hardy's putrid hitting be dammed, you just can't bench All-star caliber DP defense such as that.

But for some odd reason, we have higher standards when it comes to offense.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Ned Jr said he thought his chances of makig the big leagues are "pretty good."

Um OK. I thought there was a big hub-bub about him leaving Oshkosh to play more baseball. Last year was his final year and he wasn't drafted?

I'm pretty sure I saw him play a couple years ago in the Northwoods League (summer wood-bat league with teams mainly in MN and WI), but I don't remember much about him.

He went .413/.500/.774 this year at UWO. 11 HR and 42 RBI and a 26-15 BB-K ratio.

And he did play in the Northwoods League in 2003, helping the Wisconsin Woodchucks (Wausau) win the league title.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Yet we're starting Junior Spivey... does not compute. If there's any year to bite the bullet and give the kid his ML ABs, this is the year...before we actually begin to contend, and his offensive inexperience starts costing us games. And I contend that our pitchers likely feel a bit more secure with a glove like that behind him.

Yes, we need to score runs, but we also need to give players the experience at the plate to perform said duties when it matters more.
