caps and santos has not pitched all that bad this season. Capuano was not good this last night. Santos' record is not great. I personally think that if ohka can pitch close to how he did tonite we may have one of the better rotations in the nl

I really hope that post game interview conducted by Brainard does not represent the official Milwaukee welcome. Bob, his name is TOMO, not TOMAH...also, could you speak any faster? You're looking at "Tomah" and asking him if he's unnerved Give me a break...just because using the word of the day when speaking to a Japanese guy who barely understands English is some kind of power trip for you.

Bob's gotstaaaa go!

Also, can't Daron and Bill talk aobut something other than whether Bill can throw his late night pizza into the garbage dump below the hotel room? JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna go nuts.

Well i personally think we have one of the better overall pitching staffs in baseball, its top 6 or 7 top to bottom. That means if the hitting does take off (which is unlikely), yes we'll be scary good. As in wild card contention good.

yeah....does Bill know anything about the Brewers? Bill Hall isn't 23...he could look down at his media guide and know this.

It's not so simple as you make it out to be. I'm sure that the media guide gives the year of birth and not the age..hence, subtraction may be involved and therein lies the dilemma

Yost is a buffoon then. He needs to be fired... If you bring Prince up, you start him all 6 games... will Yost actually platoon Fielder when Fielder is a full-time major leaguer?

for the record, I'd sit Overbay and play Helms at 1B and start Prince Fielder

tonight's winning post

A conversation on sequences? ***? I'm now turning on Uecker, I don't care if it's not synced up.

Edit: Yes, we have horrible TV announcers. But, we have one of the best in Uecker on the radio. I wish there was a way FSN could track how many of use just boycott their audio and listen to the radio instead.

I know it's not scientific and such, but the JS did a poll a few weeks back about this. It was: When you watch a Brewer game, who do you listen to?

53% said Daron and Bill

47% said Uke and Powell

In a related study, 53% of Wisconsinites admit they don't own a radio...

recap on last night:

Ohka got lucky, the 9 hits could have blown up pretty easily-

Cantu and Huff pretty much had him figured out-

Yost is the one who really got lucky, though-

Can't believe he left Ohka in there when he loaded the bases in the 8th-

I understand that Rickie doesn't have a lot of experience playing in domes, but on that ball he lost in the first he was in the wrong area code-

his read off the bat was so bad he was 40 feet away from where the ball landed-

His turn on the DP in the 8th was nice-

Can't wait to see more of him and JJ working together-

Once again, Helms looked like he should be out there-

He didn't have his focus on that first at bat, but he turned it on after that-

Overbay's K was a nice at bat-

He 'battled'-

He was really lucky in the first, seems like I've seen Crawford make that play a hundred times-

Good to see Lyle have success against a lefty-

Carlos Lee didn't even show up last night-

I'm amazed he got to Crawford's slicing fly in the 1st, but after that he was phoning it in-

He was listless at the plate-

His last K was awful to watch-

He is so strong that he did hit that long fly, but his swing on that pitch was anemic-

But the thing that really got me ticked was on Huff's double in the 6th...there is no way that ball should have reached to the wall!!!

He can't possibly be that slow-

It was that kind of play where you were scared it would open the floodgates-

Until CLee starts taking pride in his defense, I'm going to believe that Ozzie Guillen was right-

Once again, the offense had trouble making contact-

I've been going to DRays games for years and never seen them total 10 K's in a game-

Terrible, especially for 7 righties against a lefty-
