6/14/05 Brewers (Ohka) @ DRays (Fossum) 6:15 CST

bjkrautk

Didn't see a thread yet, so I started today's.

Tonight we find out just what we've recieved for Junior Spivey. Plus, it's another night to watch the kids play (including Prince v. LHP this time around), against a team they should be able to beat.

So, will Fossum no-hit the Brewers, or will the bats show up tonight?

I still haven't been able to watch Weeks hit on tv yet. Was in the car on both Saturday and Sunday and had to work last night. I have softball tonight, so I'm hoping the game will still be on when I get home. I'm excited to see what all of the fuss is about.

I'll tell you what. When all the people in the minors said that his bat speed is phenominal, they weren't kidding. Whenever he gets a hit, the ball screams off the bat like greased lightning. Atleast if the Brewers are going to suck, I can look forward to seeing him play.

Yost is a buffoon then. He needs to be fired... If you bring Prince up, you start him all 6 games... will Yost actually platoon Fielder when Fielder is a full-time major leaguer?

Thats the last straw, I'm jumpin on the "fire Yost" bandwagon

that said, I'm glad Jenkins is sitting

for the record, I'd sit Overbay and play Helms at 1B and start Prince Fielder

AJ start the guy who saw a total of 8 pitches in 4 AB's and "almost" hit a HR vs. a guy who "hit" a HR? I say Prince will get 2 AB's and this is a great lineup. Maybe Yost is a bit upset about plate discipline and is making an early point to a young man stating he doesn't start no matter what. Prove yourself young man. Or....maybe Helms is hot!

After last night, I feel like starting to nitpick everything Bill Schroeder says. Bill Hall is 25, not 23. That separates him quite a bit from Hardy, Weeks, and Fielder.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
