The Vampire

Santos and Nomo tonight, i apoligize if this is way early for the game thread, but i'm working extremely late tonight and wanted to share this now as i will definitly be sleeping at the usual thread-posting time.

If you want a fun fact, look at Jenkins career AB's vs. Nomo, it should be an interesting to see what Mostly-Toast comes up with for a lineup.

On the other hand, Lee has some (very) small-sample success against the righty.

Until we get back to .500, all games are real important.. but we really need this one if we are going to go into Toronto with our heads high.

Lets Go To Work, Crew!

Good to see Yost tear into the team yesterday

I totally agree, it was nice to see that in the newspaper this morning. I think one problem this team has is that it is basically deviod of any strong personalities. When we go into a slump, like we have been in basically since that Twins game last month, I think its important to have someone on your club that will just rip into the team and get them fired up. This team seems to play just very uninspired at times once it starts to lose a couple games.

I like the lineup. It sounds like 8 runs.

Also, I dont think the Crew will give up another run until July.

Starting tonight Vampire, Sharpie, Big Ben, Cappy, and Ohka will fire consecutive shutouts until the calender changes.

Let's hope we can score a run each night.

Just to clarify..this post is tongue in cheek, but it sure would be nice to start getting some runs for our outstanding pitching staff.

According to the D-Rays broadcast, the Brewers have had 27 games where they scored three runs or less. That's an awfully high number this early in the year.

The Brewers are 3-24 in those games.

Considering the average runs scored per game in the NL is a little over 4 runs, why would it be suprising that the Brewers have scored 3 runs or less in 42% of their games? That sounds EXACTLY right, actually.

Thatta boy, Prince.
