Now we'll get to see the difference between the Cubs and Brewers. We get our lead off man on in the 8th inning and fail to score, and I bet the Cubs will find a way to drive in Cedeno after the lead off walk. Hope like hell I'm wrong, but i doubt it.

Like I have said before, I am against formula managing, but I can see why you bunt in that situation.

 

I can also see why you don't. You give a team a free out when you haven't done anything offensively in the game, and you virtually assure that the bat will be taken out of El Caballo's hands later in the inning, because the Cubs will either pitch around or flat-out walk him if he comes up in a meaningful spot.
