Was he supposed to jump into the crowd to get the ball?

Derek Jeter would have gone into the crowd, thrown over his shoulder without looking to double a runner off base (even with bases empty), and wound the watch of the pretty lady in the second row. That's because he's a winner and a True Yankee Champion. Count the rings.

Umpire: Mr. Burnett, there's no way you're walking Bill Hall without having him swing the bat at least once. Keep trying.

(after three more balls...)

Umpire: That's it. You had your chances. Bill, take your base. Remember this moment. Knowing you, it probably won't happen again.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

That Gallaraga homer is a bomb. Would love to see that one on tape. I cant even imagine the 620 footer Frank Thomas hit off Donnelly. I really cant believe that a ball can go that far. Its gotta be a little over exaggerated

Looks like Burnett is really settling down. Hopefully Tomo can pitch well here on out.

EDIT: just noticed his pitch count and I guess if we can foce him to throw 15-20 pitches next inning he should be gone.
