I have zero faith in any of our relievers not named Matt WiseMan, I know I can get a little hard on Turnbow, but he has been great lately. Most other teams would give their right arms for production like that at closer (I kind of hope they do, and throw in a left arm or two with him)

Ned has no idea about managing. He does not realise it involves many, many little decisions... each is important.

Here he has a chance to give some struggling reliever some work. But he does not.

Now Atlanta will make Wise unavail for tomorrow.

They see Wise more for next game against him

Dumb, Ned, dumb. You constantly do dumb things and miss win-win opportunities for your players. You are great rah, rah but strategy dumb, dumb.

Since this team is neither great nor terrible, it will be rare that they have a run differential greater than 6 or 7, so if there's a time to use JDLR (or Obie) it's now. I don't understand using Wise when up by 6 or 7. Save him for the close ones.

Way to panic Ned, even your players can smell your fear.

You should not have used Wise in the 9th. You should only use Turnbow if they score like 4 or 5 runs. You should calmly trot out your worst reliever then the next one. They will not, cannot give up 7 runs in a nineth.

Dont worry, Ned. But your fear is rubbing off on your players. Now I begin to understand why they play scared and choke so much. Ned, be a LEADER.

Genius...Now I see why Turnbow was up, Now he can get the save by getting only one out with no one on! Amazing that Yost new this would happen. Don't worry, it was all planned.

(yes, all that was sarcasm)

There is no worry about this. But if leave a guy in to 40 pitches, when he should not be there, what do you expect.

I am even sure the players are confused by Ned. Confused players do not relax and play well.

My new theory about the Brewers: Ned is dazed and confused, and SCARED - and therefore the players are.
