The Braves have to be the best organization in baseball. They keep producing sooo many young players it is incredible. Yeah, they'll go out and get a Maddux, a Sheffield or a Hudson but they surround them with guys who can play. Just look at that home grown lineup.

All but Estrada, and they got him before he was a big leaguer.

Not to mention Francuer, Langerhans, marte...etc. And they dont normally sign FA, they trade for guys with other young talent...amazing.

Aah, the Eephus, where have you gone. I can imagine a young Adam looking on with admiration as his father takes the mound in a major league game. As Dave unleashes his secret weapon, the slow, bending eepus, one thought goes through young Adam's brain: "Dad, you friggin dork, why do you throw that trash. Try bringing some heat."

I dont know where Turner Field is in Atlanta, but according to weather.com all of Fulton County is getting pounded, as it is pretty much covered in "bright red"...we'll see if we get this one in.

Look at Daron with that wacky mustache. That's quality TV, folks.
"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

hows Sheets look?

Started out a little rough.. Braves scored 2 runs in the first on two infield singles and a double.. Since then he's been better. Finally starting to get some Ks......

Edit: Oh yeah. He also laid down a great sac bunt that directly resulted in an extra run scored.

If you compare the stats of those 2 lineups position by position (replace Moeller with Miller and just because of the "type" of players they are...compare Lee to A. Jones and Clark to Langerhans) they are so similar it's scary. That just further prooves my point earlier today that they Braves really aren't that much more talented than the Brewers.

Wow, Mike, I was expecting you to get your eyes scratched out for saying that. But you even got a couple of replies that discussed and extended your idea.

In future, I will email you my posts, as you can put them up.

Yeah, HOFFY, you took some lumps yesterday, by I still agree. I don't understand why the Braves win, and we don't. Getting the Brewers to stay focused for an entire 9 inning game is like getting a 6 year old to sit still for an entire 3 hour car ride.
