I have no problem with bunts in some situations, but you need high average contact hitters up to make sure you get in that run and this year Overbay, Lee, Jenkins are not that. Its not playing the odds using weeks to bunt clark over.

When randy johnson hit the bird pitching. Miller was catching. Who was batting?

 

All I can tell you is that it happened on March 24, 2001 in the 7th inning of a ST game against the Giants. And I believe it was Rod Rod Barajas that was the catcher.

 

EDIT: Upon further invesitgation, it was Calvin Murray at bat.

Well if the corners are in and the infield is waiting for it, not really. The only reason it was close was because the pitcher took a look at third base before he threw.

I would have swung away after he missed the first one. If I was coach... but we all have are own ideas...
