While I don't think I would say this is a must win. This game would sure be nice to win for the sake of saying that the Brewers have split or won their last four series, three of which were on the road. (Do I have that right?) I always like the team's chances with Capuano on the mound.

In order to win, however, Carlos needs to start hitting.

This game is no more of a "must win" than any other, IMO. It sure would be a "feel good win" though. Every game is just as important as any other at this point in the season.

I'm looking forward to Jenkins being back in the lineup today. He's had pretty good success vs Marquis, so hopefully that continues today.

After so many hot and cold streaks by the players, it's interesting how many of the Brewers have ended up in the 270's now with OPS around 800.

It's been so long since we've had even an average offense, it's hard to remember what it was like.

"No Walker or Edmonds"

Walker rarely plays against lefties anymore, but I'm surprised that Edmonds gets another day off already. I thought Rolen would be off with his sore shoulder.

I don't see this as a must-win game either. My main goal for this series was not to get swept. We already took care of that. A victory today would be a nice bonus and a morale boost. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost too.

But yeah, I hope we clobber them.

wow.. for some reason I like the lineup today. Billy has needed a full day off for a while. Their lineup is not full without edmonds and others. Hopefully we can jump on them early. I'd like to see a nice 2-3 run 1st inning. Get us out in front.
