Just another example of the myth that fielding percentage is a good indicator of good and bad defense.

Weeks messes up 2 double plays yet because an out is made no error is charged.

Last night Lee is playing so deep that he can't get to what should have been a routine fly ball and when hardy can't make a somehat difficult over the shoulder catch what should have been out becomes a double.

This is really a bad defensive team.

I'd like to hear the rational on why the brewers play there outfielders one step off the warning track as a normal course of business?

Are the number of singles that we give up with the ball falling in front of our outfielders really a more effective way to play defense because we don't give up as many extra base hits?

I guess I just don't see other teams play defense that way but then again most teams have a lot more speed in there outfield then we do.
