8/9/05 - Cardinals (Reyes) @ Brewers (Davis) - 7:05 CST

BJ15, that was great. Everyone at work was giving me an odd look for laughing so loud.

Not only can the 23-year-old handle himself on the mound, but he can swing the bat as well

Meaning: He'll get at least two hits and drive in 3-4 of the first 5-6 Cardinal runs.

I work until 7, but I'll be in my seat by the second inning. I'm wearing my white buckethead brigade shirt. If they see me, not only will I get on TV, they'll probably talk about me for several innings and send that Brainard dude out to talk to me. I'll tell him wear to go.

The Brewer's really need this win, and I want them to, but I fear we'll find a stupid reason to lose (throw to the wrong base, get picked off, etc.). Come on Crew, prove me wrong.

I know that Doug Davis is pitching tonight.. but i have decided that for this game only, we will put up nothing but Ben Sheets mojo. He is the biggest fan in the stadium when he's not on the mound, and it should give us the right mentallity tonight for a good but kicking... If Ben were a hitter, he wouldn't let this rookie take him down, that's for sure!

Also, no duplicate pictures.. every one must be different, and if at all possible, related to the current situation in the ball game..

Again, no other pictures of anything else, just Ben. If a duplicate should occur, the last post should delete it via edit..

I'll get this thing started...

There should be no talk of the wild card while we are presently under .500. Unless you're in the NL West, below .500 means you have no business thinking about playoffs... .500 or above, anything goes.

C'mon man, we're only 5 games back, possibly four after tonight. Anyway the more talk of a wild card berth, the more average fans will get excited and want to come out to the ballpark.

Excellent comment. I would love to hear the word "Brewers" associated with the word "playoffs". The more, the better.

blah, I wasnt exactly hoping to see someone in scoring position for Pujols in the 1st......http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

EDIT: I guess we're not going to let Pujols beat us
