8/18/05 - Brewers (Ohka) @ Astros (Clemens)

Ando Calrissian
I would say start the kids. Let fielder, hart, hardy, weeks get a couple at bats each against one of the best(if not the best) pitchers to ever play still at the top of his game. If we get shutout or even no-hit, so be it.

Or, do what gives you the best chance to win the game. Giving guys a chance to hit against Roger Clemens, simply for the sake of giving them a chance to hit against Roger Clemens really doesn't do much for me.

We don't have these guys here to sit on the bench. IMO, Hall should sit tonight. He chases pitches all of the time. I can see Clemens whiff him 3 or 4 times tonight.

My lineup tonight?

Weeks

Hardy

Jenkins

Lee

Fielder

Hart

Branyan

Miller

R-R-L-R-L-R-L-R

That's about Ned's speed.

If I were Ned, CF and SS would for sure be different, maybe 1B. But I'm not a major league manager, so I guess you gotta trust the man.

"Hall really doesn't hit that well, either, unless you consider a .313 OBP hitting well."

I feel a lot better knowing this guy could get into one and not just hit nubber groundouts to SS like his counterpart JJ does. And the 15 HR's don't hurt either.
