9/1/05 Padres(Eaton) @ Brewers(Helling) 7:05CDT

So this is what we are treated to. Helling will, if lucky, give up 4 or 5 runs a start. What does that say about our future or NOW, even.

 

Why does the management of this team refuse to fully step forward.

 

Helling is probably a good guy and all that. But he is no part of our future. So why is he pitching.

Well he has kept the ball in the park which is better than I thought he would do. He is on his way to a quality start so I cant complain too much. Except he pitched two good innings which would have been perfect to piggyback someone with potential say JDLRhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Did anyone else think Nady's hit was a homer? Just the way Sutton said it was "crushed".. I don't know, I just got worried there. Anyway, please don't push your luck anymore with Helling Ned.. he gave you a quality start and that's way more than enough.
