09/03/05 Padres(Williams) V.S. Brewers(Obermueller)

They're about as helpful as a McDonald's or DMV worker.

go to the Waukesha DMV, as I've never had a problem there. I hear horror stories elsewhere though, especially in AZ.

Still, DirecTv is better than Cox Communications in Arizona. Satellite over cable any day

Yeah, I know Lee should be 4, but then you'd have four guys in a row that are righties. I think Yost's head would explode before he did that.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif . Just an idea to get more people up before Lee, but you want Lee to bat lots of times. It's great to actually have this discusion, though.

At the beginning of the year, Jenks was cold and Overbay was hot, and Yost put them 3rd and 5th. Now it's switched. Shouldn't your better (read: hot) hitter be in the 3rd hole? People might pitch around Lee, but with the hotter bat in front of him, he might come up with more men on base.

DHonks,

You got a hair further than I did. The service rep actually tried to connect you with a supervisor. When I called, all she did was say she'd deliver the message.

I think I may try calling again now that I know different customer service reps handle this differently.

I called Gateway Computers for my neighbors a couple days ago. The first thing Gateway asked was, "May I have a phone number in case we get cut off and I have to call you back?" Why doesn't everyone do that?

Also, lots of people probably bought extra tickets to get more than one bobble head. The guy that sits behind me usually gets around a dozen bobble heads to give out as gifts.
I believe there's usually a disclaimer saying that it's one bobblehead per person rather than one bobblehead per ticket. That may only apply to games with an age limit on the giveaway, though. It'd be interesting to see what your friend does.

The generic DirecTV logo with the musical background just popped up on DirecTV channel 642. I wonder if that means something.

the way I got to a person was I said I had a technical problem, that I had a message on the screen, and then I said the option other than "station not available," so I went through some process where I had to press 1 twice to let them know I was supposedly trying to reboot the receiver. After that was done, they asked if it worked, and if it didn't to press something. So then they connected me
