09/03/05 Padres(Williams) V.S. Brewers(Obermueller)

Two Right handed hurlers take the mound today in game three of this four game series. The padres send veteren Woody Williams while the brewers send recent triple A call up Wes Obermueller. Obermueller has had some good outings and bad outings. However the bad outings have out numbred the good ones. Both ERA's are rather high so look for the ball to be banged around tonite!

Pitching matchup:

MIL: RHP Wes Obermueller

? 1-2, 4.62 ERA in 2005

? 0-0, 10.13 ERA vs. SD in 2005

SD: RHP Woody Williams

? 6-11, 5.01 ERA in 2005

? Has not faced MIL in 2005

Player to watch

Catcher Damian Miller is hitting a robust .529 (10-for-19) against Williams. Miller returned from an illness-induced day off and went 3-for-3 on Friday with two runs scored.

On television

? MIL: FSN

? SD: Channel 4

On radio

? MIL: WTMJ 620

? SD: XPRS, XEMO (Sp.)

update: fixed the series

I will be in attendance tonight, can't wait to get my Carlos Lee bobblehead. This will be the 14th game I have gone to this year and so far the Brewers are 4-9 when I go, if they lose tonight no more games for me this year I think Iam bad luck. I hope for a Prince Fielder start tonight.

Makes me think someone will win 2-0 on two un-earned runs, both pitchers will still be pitching in the seventh, and there will be a combined 22 strike-outs between both teams.

I hope it's another blow out for us. It was pretty fun last night.

It's not on my DirecTV. I'm hearing that it isn't showing up on DishNetwork, either. Something tells me FOX dropped the ball on this one.

I think that the main reason that the game is not on Directv is the fact that this game (and tomorrow's game) are added games, recently added to the broadcast schedule.

Directv is likely only programming games that were on the original broadcast schedule that they were given way back in March/April and will stick to it.

This is my guess of that situation.
