The Crew tries to get back to .500 after a tough loss last night at Minute Maid Park.

In Obermueller's last start on September 3rd he went 4.1 innings and gave up 5 earned runs. His last outing on September 10th he came out of relief for 4 solid innings giving up 4 hits and no runs.

In Backe's last start on September 12th he went 5 innings giving up 7 hits, 4 runs (3 earned).

Should be a pretty good offensive battle, let's hope Lidge is worn out from last night.

Obie is hit-or-miss. Our bullpen doesn't have me brimming with confidence right now, so let's see if we can get one of those masterpieces like vs Houston last year, or Washington this year. He's due.

And this has somewhat slipped under the radar, but the Brewers are 5-0-1 in their last 6 road series. That's crazy. Either they'll lose their first road series in 7 tries, or they will go over .500 tomorrow. Something has to give.

If you subscribe to MLB.TV and you feel like you are unfairly being blacked-out in your area, you can call the number they give you and they will give you access to the game. I've done this several times before, when a game is on cable TV and blacked-out in my area.

I can't stand playing in Houston. That stupid train is an overkill given that they use it for every freakin' run. It obviously gets under my skin; I wonder if it does the same to the players. Either way, it sounds like a playoff atmosphere there. Our guys appear to be scuffling (swinging at bad pitches, error, Obermueller). Hopefully we can regain some momentum and shut the crowd up a bit.
