and Trent is Yost's friggin first choice off the bench!

Maybe he's anticipating an umpteen inning affair where he needs the bigger bats later?

That scraping noise you hear is me at the bottom of the barrel.

EDIT: Kane Davis?!?

And what's with that gameday picture? Looks like an actor-style "I like to brood" head shot.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Maddux's endureance really being tested in the 8th. It took him 12 pitches to get through the 8th. Is pitch count has ballooned to 78.

I think if the Brewer can make Maddux throw about 45 pitches in the 9th, they should be able to knock himout of the game!

BTW, if Yost has Rooter pinch hit for the pitcher to lead of the 9th...

well another chance to get to 500 and add so momentum

but the Offense sputtered out today.

Well hopefully we won"t be Swept by the Cards this weekend to fall 5 games under.

I be very happy taking one game and taking our chances with the reds four the final 4 home Games.

and then Taking 2/3 from the Bucs

I was surprised that Maddux was pulled too, but I figured Dusty was saving him for a chance to go for win #15 on short rest. That's the only logical explanation I can think of, anyways, although applying logic to a Baker decision is always a dicey proposition.

Prior and Wood could have used that kind of consideration in previous years.

did anyone else hear that cubs fan behind home today? before every pitch the brewer pitcher threw, he would yell '"inside", "outside", "middle" or "high" depending on where miller was sliding to. I didnt hear sutton or the rock mention anything about it, but i heard this guy for just about every single pitch while the cubs batted. its not exactly stealing pitches because the players didnt know what specific pitch was coming....but they did always know the intended location(whether they were actually listening or not remains to be seen). something should have been done by surrounding brewer fans, i was hoping to hear other people yelling the opposite of where miller was setting up, or some brewer fans should of told that guy he was going to have a broken jaw if he kept it up......but anyway, i was just wondering if anyone else heard that
