Is a certain word off limits in today's game thread?

I've seen it used in a few other threads, but I'm not going to be the guy who uses it here.

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

I'd say so.

Smart man. The media can't stop using it either, but that doesn't mean Brewerfan has to sink to that level. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

C'mon Brewers, get the upper hand in the all-time series! 62-61, baby!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Are we talking about the s-word?

But we aren't playing Barry Bonds today...or Rafael Palmeiro for that matter. Sosa isn't with the Cubs anymore either, so I have no idea what you are talking about http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I didn't say it.

Well, it's worked the past two starts, so:

Rick Helling could not:

1. Get the ball over the plate if he used a beach ball

2. Throw with any heat if he set the ball on fire.

3. Fool a hitter if he had David Copperfield on the hill with him.

4. Win a game if spotted a 10 run lead.

5. Break 85 MPH if he drove the ball around in his car.

6. Have good command if he were in charge of a Girl Scout Troop.

7. "Go the distance" in a 2 meter race.

8. Intimidate a 4 year old.

9. Paint the corners with a power sprayer.

10. Get hot if he were standing on the equator wearing a fur coat.

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Jamie, this has helped out Helling, but not necessarily the bats. Quick, grind out some smack talk for the offense.

At this point, I'd almost rather see Weeks get a day off than Hardy.

couldnt agree more with that, especially if maddux is painting corners and working his off speed stuff well...i think that would lead to weeks having a rough day, but on the flip side...cant sit down billy hall because he has crushed the cubs all year. although russell hasnt played much the past 2 months...isnt he still considerably overdue? how about he puts one in the dew deck
