Isn't that the whole point of an in game thread, to comment on the game. I like to read the in game thread the next day and like to have references of what happened so I know the exact time in the game.

By the way, Ralph, why do you feel like it is your place to tell someone what to post?

Nice attempt at justifying a reason to bash me. That's just super.

Well, Claussen's gone now. He was quite average tonight.

Just out of curiousity, is posting play-by-play a violation of MLB broadcast rights? Is this where "without the written consent of MLB" comes into play?

I know we can discuss the game, but I wonder if a true play-by-play is a violation of some sort.

Chris

I agree this team has shown something over the last couple of weeks. They seem really determined right now whether you want to call that heart or just more focus, I don't know.

Doesn't it make you a little sad that they didn't have this look back in August after they came home from New York and Philly. To me, I think maybe they were still a little relaxed and didn't know they could be a good team and not pushing ahead and playing at full steam the way they are now. Its almost like once they were pretty much eliminated from wild card talk, they refocused on the goal at hand and are determined to win for the fans.

That is what I like about this team the most, you can tell they care and appreciate our fans.

I believe the name for it is "eye of the tiger." (Insert corny song lyrics while Bill Hall runs up the stairs of the upper deck of Miller Park (now there is a commercial idea))

I think this team has the talent to go on spurts of great play, but it doesn't have the horses to consistently be a top-tier team. That's why they have been so frusterating this year. We all can see the glint of hope, but right now, it is just out of reach. I would say that, barring the unforseen, if this team doesn't challenge for the wild card right up to the end next year, they will have played under their potential.
