Sheesh someone bring Bush back down to earth. We are going to be very dissappointed when he gives up a run. It will be Ohka all over again. He shut out Tampa and after that we probably set our expectations to high. He really should just pull an Eveland or somethin to bring my excitement down a few notches

I don't know if you guys have seen Bush pitch but his curve is outstanding as is his control. His main problem has been his inability to strike guys out once he gets ahead in the count. Working with the demi-god Mike Maddux could really turn him into a very nice young starter. He could pull a Capuano and win 15+ games this year.

Top of the 4th, and Bush gives up his first run in 9 innings of spring training work.

I hope this guy does better in the regular season http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Zach Jackson works out of a jam by getting Mike Cameron to bounce out. Doesn't fall apart after loading the bases. Gritty.

I'm liking the Overbay trade more and more.

Update: I had to change the netcast to the San Diego broadcasters because Bill and Darron were getting on my nerves. Padre announcers love the sausage race. I think they are jealous. Who wouldn't be?

I beginning to wonder about Clark. He's K'd 10 times so far this spring.

He seems as if he's working on upping his walk totals by taking a lot more pitches but by doing so, he's forced to hit the pitcher's pitch. Since its spring, that's fine, but I think if he does that in the regular season, yes he'll get more walks but at the expense of fewer hits.

Bush looked really good today. I was even pleased with Jackson even though he had some control problems in the rough inning.

Hart smacked the skin off of his triple, and he had a really nice diving catch.

Everyone said it was a mild day in Maryvale, but I'll tell you, its no Wisconsin march. Even got to see Melvin and Gord Ash sitting 20 rows back behind home plate, good stuff...

Quote:
I'm getting a little nervous about Turnbow. I hope he's not turning back into a pumpkin. He's not a location pitcher, so i'm really expecting him to pick up the pace pretty soon.

does anyone know if turnbow has changed back to the familiar side of the rubber? If not, it might be good for him to go back soon to get used to it before the regular season.
