I just wish that they would bring back the old guitar tune that they played on the radio before the current tune.

I could not agree more. I was very disappointed when they broke out the current jingle.

I know that there are not many spring games left, but does anyone know where I can get a schedule of the spring games that are on wtmj 620? Does anyone know if they will be on the radio (wtmj, not xm or web cast) on Friday?

Man, I just realized I need to buy Abbey Road to get that song now. I'm craving it.

Also, what are all the songs on the 1982 highlight video. I need to get some of them and create a Brewers mix. A few I remember are...

I'm Winning

Celebrate Good Times

What are the others?

Weekday games are webcasts, weekend (sat/sun) are radio. The only exceptions I know of were the 2 night games this week.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, the name of that Beatles song is called "The End". A couple of years ago, they did a profile of the guy who did that jingle (and other jingles for Milwaukee companies..I think he also did Golden Gurnsey and Midwest Express, among others) on Fox 6 news. When, I saw the piece, I thought, wait a second, that's a Beatles song, how does he get credit for it? So, I sent him an e-mail asking him about it. He sent an e-mail back with a long explanation about how even though it's from the beatles what he did for the Brewers would be considered his own composition...didn't really understand..

I just turned it on and saw Hardy standing on second. Also gross (i think) struck out before weeks. Either way someone hit between hardy and weeks.

I was at the game today in Tucson. JDLR had a great one inning and even had Thome staring back at him after striking out and walking back to the dugout. I think JDLR was a little full of himself after the strike out. Gload hit a high bouncer to first that Ned Yost IV had to back up to field and when he got ready to throw the ball to first guess who wasn't there ? Yost made the play unassited, barely, thanks to JDLR not being at the base. When JDLR came off the field Ned Yost had a five minute coming to Jesus talk with him outside the dugout. Sure wish I could of heard what was being said.

Thank you!!!! I've always wondered what the name of the old Brewers radio intro song was and now I know! I thought I heard it on an oldies station before but could never track down the title.

If anyone would like to post an mp3, that'd be really cool.
