I hope i'm wrong and i know hes still a young dude, but Krynzel just doesnt seem to be getting all that much better. Its good he walks more, but he still K's a ton and gets thrown out stealing way to often.Has anyone here seen him play often enough to say his stats dont tell the whole story, that improvement is steady with him.

You know for all the hitter's league talk about the AFL looking at the team numbers doesn't really suggest a massive HR bias there just didn't seem to be a lot of inflated looking SLG% / not nearly as many extra base hits. Even Rickie I own OBP Weeks only slugged .431 hardly an awe inspiring number (the .440 OBP is however). This may make Nelson and Krynzel's poor number a bit more palatable. I would have liked to have seen Kade get some more ABs, but those are the breaks. Here's to seeing Ben and Tim pitching next year in Spring training.

Krynzel probably needs some time off. Hopefully, that was the reason for the slump. His last game was pretty decent (two walks and a hit), and he was getting on base by other means (getting plunked does not look like a fun way to get on base, though...).

Maybe the AFL was a bad idea for Dave...

Was at about half the championship game today, which was won by Dewon Brazleton's team, 7-2 (I think it was Solar Sox over Desert Dogs).

Brazelton looked effective but unspectacular. I'd have to say that Hendrickson was easily the best starting pitcher that I saw in the league.

Jonny Gomes looked good today. Delmon Young K'd on a terrible pitch. And Philly pitcher Josh Hancock looked like a soft-tosser who could not find the strikezone.
