More details here from the Swing's site:

The Swing of the Quad Cities scored five times in the third inning and never looked back on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Beloit Snappers 6-4 at Pohlman Field. Matt Moses belted a two-run homer during that five-run rally as the Swing won for the second time in a row to take their first series of the season.

The Swing scored five runs in the top of the third inning, using aggressive baserunning and a bit of power. After a leadoff walk to Josh Johnson, Ryan Spataro singled into right. Denard Span followed by reaching on an error, and that?s when the fun began. With the bases loaded, Scott Whitrock chopped a grounder towards third. Adam Heether tried to throw out Johnson at the plate, but his throw was wild, allowing Johnson to score. Spataro sprinted from second to the plate, and the throw from catcher Tim Marks was wild, plating Spataro. With the ball trickling down the third base line, Span also came on home for a 3-0 Swing lead.

Matt Moses followed with a two-run home to deep right field, his first as a professional. Moses? towering blast put the Swing up on top by a score of 5-0.

Quad Cities held that lead until the fifth inning, when Beloit touched up Errol Simonitsch for three runs, all scored after two outs. Steve Moss drew a one-out walk, and took second on Gilberto Acosta?s two-out single to left. Robby Deevers followed with a single to left, scoring Moss. Drew Anderson collected an infield single to score a run, and Lou Palmisano followed with a run-scoring base hit to right, slicing Quad Cities? lead to 5-3.

The Swing added to the lead in the top of the sixth frame. After Alex Garcia led off with a single, Josh Johnson stroked a one-out single to right, on a textbook hit-and-run play. Ryan Spataro knocked home Garcia by hustling out a groundball, for a 6-3 Swing lead.

Errol Simonitsch went 4.2 innings for the Swing, allowing three runs on four hits. He struck out two and walked two while picking up no decision.

Tautor was dominant in 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. He got the first man he faced, Marks, to pop out on his first pitch of the afternoon, leaving the tying run on base.

Kevin Culpepper relieved in the eighth inning, and allowed just an unearned run. He pitched a scoreless ninth to pick up the first save of his career.

but I hear Montgomery manager Charlie Montoyo really went into a tirade after the game in the clubhouse.

1. It's Ozzie Jr.

2. So, do we think the Montgomery guys will say, "The heck with my selfish desire to succeed, today I'm going to try because...my manager is a buffoon who is panicking after 2.1% of the season".
