I can help out while MassBrew is busy.

Huntsville is off today, and starts a 3-game series at Montgomery tomorrow.

High Desert plays Rancho Cucamonga at home tonight at 9 pm Central, with Bo Hall the scheduled starter. The Mavs are 2-5 on the year and trying to split the 4-game series in the finale with the Quakes, who are 4-2.

Beloit plays at home against Peoria at 6:30 pm Central, with Brian Montalbo scheduled to start. The Snappers are 3-3 on the year and trying to take 3 of 4 in the series with the Chiefs, who are 2-4.

Michalak is now on the mound for indy. It'll be interesting to see how he pitches here. Nice to seem him up in the bigs for the lefty the brewers need.

He just gave up two bloop base hits and then a line drive that Hart couldn't get to and a runner scores in the ninth.

I get sarcasm. I think it's you that doesn't understand, wiscrules. Tell me what exactly is sarcastic about that post?

It can be reasonably inferred that because of recent losses that this quote should be taken literally.

My first post was not one hundred percent serious by the way.

A bit of a thumbs down to Indy management; looks like they're relying on the mini and neutral Sports Network game summary for their web site rather than a detailed post-game report written by Indy staff http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif

Indianapolis Game Summary:

Mike Jacobs scored on a Craig Brazell double in the top of the ninth to give Norfolk a 7-6 win over Indianapolis.

Brazell finished the game 2-for-5, including a two run home run, and three RBI. Jacobs went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI. Wilson Delgado had a perfect day at the plate with four hits in four at-bats, including two doubles, a run scored, and an RBI.

P.J. Bevis (1-0) pitched one inning and got the win. He held the Indians scoreless on two hits.

Chris Michalak (1-1) gave up one run on three hits in the ninth inning.

Norfolk's second win in a row evens up their record at 3-3, while Indianapolis falls to 3-2.

Tomorrow Norfolk will head to Louisville for a weekend series and Indianapolis will welcome Richmond to Victory Field.

Indianapolis Box Score:

Tough outing for RHP Travis Phelps...

What idiot said Huntsville would win 100 games this year?

Uh, don't you mean Indy? H-Ville has off tonight.

In progress: Rancho Cucamonga (Angels) 7, High Desert 2, after five innings

The Quakes were up 7-0 after two; honestly, it just seems we've been reading this same script for three years now out of the desert -- maybe it's the Brewer mentality in me, but I still find myself rooting for these kids above the others, but to no avail...
