Phelps is out after giving up a HR in the 4th. Wise is coming in to pitch. Indianapolis is now down 3-0.

I'm listening to the Indians' radio for the first time, and they do a good job. I am having problems staying connected on the internet feed however.

edit 6 - 5 Braves take the lead.

Liefer goes deep again! All tied up at 6 in the bottom of the 8th.

Apparently, Hart has K'd three times. He just popped up to end the 8th. We head to the ninth tied at 6.

EDIT: Hit and run turns into a double play for the Braves as Corey Hart makes a nice catch and throw to first. End of the ninth coming up.

I guess I should have said Bottom of the ninth....

Anyway, Mark Johnson leads off with a bloop single. Man on first with no outs.

Sacrifice is successful, Johnson moves to 2nd with one out.

Figeroa (sp?) batting for J Childers K's. looking. Two outs.

Krynzel is up. He is 1 for 3 on the day (single).

They are intentionally walking Dave to pitch to JJ....odd strategy but Krynzel has been hitting the ball well of late. I think they want rightie vs. rightie matchup.

Men on 1st and 2nd, two down, bottom of the ninth. Hardy at the plate.

Hardy gets a single to left scoring the winning run from 2nd base. Indians win 7-6 and JJ goes to Broad Ripple to pick up chicks.

Hit was a looping liner to left that the outfielder dove for and missed.

Why would you ever walk Krynzel to pitch to Hardy? Not that J. J. Has been tearing it up, but Krynzel is SO much more likely to strike out. At least Hardy is going to put it in play! Way to go J. J., can't wait to see you in Milwaukee next year!

I should mention that the Braves threw two legitimate pitches to Krynzel before intentionally missing with the last two. It sounded as if they wanted him to go fishing and when that didn't happen on 1-0 and 2-0, they gave him the free pass.

Krynzel drawing WALKS and hitting .323?

Krynzel NOT going fishing and trying to jack a pitch deep?

Whoa... Krynzel or Podsednik will be a tough call if this keeps up...

I like having these problems. The only problem is that when the Brewers trade a guy, he ususally becomes a Brewer-killer.

Not to rain on your parade, Clancy, but he did K twice as well. Are we sure his name isn't spelled KKKKKrynzel? And he only took two pitches before being put on. I'm still baffled as to why he was intentionally walked with two outs.

I am not a HUGE minor league guy, but I feel like I know the Brewer farm hands pretty well, and for the second consecutive year (at least) HD is void of any real talent. Some of those guys I recognize, Crabbe, Bibbs, Hinton but man...that is a rough looking squad. Good Luck to them this year...I hope someone makes a name for himeself.

Great to see Dave and JJ spark a win in Indy!

Oh, for goodness' sake . . . who cares if Krynzel is striking out? Look, it's early, he's only had 31 ABs, and he's been known to choke after 300. But he's young for AAA, brand new to the level, he has 6 walks plus a HBP against nine strikeouts, and he's driving the ball. I'm not going to say he's even begun to prove anything until he keeps this up for a couple of months, but how can you possibly say anything bad about what he's done so far?

Greg.

0-0 in the bottom of the 4th 2 out, lost the feed. Both R.Nolasco and Ford are cruising.

Ford has only given up one 1 hit.

Fielder is 0-1 with a HBP, Weeks 1-2 with a single and k, Nelson 0-2 with a k.

Edit: Oh, and Ryan Knox is not allowed to wash his hair until he hits a homer- orders of Kremblas. Four days and counting.

Knox with lead off 2B(?), Fielder IBB, Weeks RBI single tied at 1-1, Nelson lined out and Fielder double off 2nd, Barnwell infield single, Weeks to thrid, pitching change, Johnson grounds out to 2nd.

Top of the seventh: Stars down 4-1,

Cruz walks

Raburn RBI double (PH for B.Adams)

Gwynn (0-3, 2k's) Raburn goes to 3rd on pb, scores on RBI ground out

Knox ground out

Fielder walk

Weeks-(2-3,k) single, Fielder to third

Nelson-(0-3, k) grounds out to 1st

Stars down 4-3
