By the way, did anyone else find it ironic that the original Corey Hart of "Sunglasses at Night" fame is a Canadian, yet ours missed the first three games of the series while stopped at the border? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Indy takes a 1-0 lead in the 3rd on a double by Scarborough and an RBI single by Knox.

Edit: It's now 2-0 on doubles by Nunnally and Figueroa in the 5th.

Edit: Ottawa scores on a HR off Adams in the bottom of the 5th. It's 2-1 Indy.

Michalek came in to pitch the 6th. The Indians have gotten double plays with 2 runners on in both the 5th and 6th to preserve the lead. In the 5th, Nunnally caught a short fly and threw out a runner at home to end the inning. In the 6th, Magruder caught a long fly and threw out a runner at 3rd, after the first two runners got on base.

And now as I write this, Ottawa ties the game in the 7th off Michalak, on another solo HR.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Hart was in the lineup today? Also, any new developments on JJ's injury? Man, i hope it's not serious. Is it just me, or is this injury hex not going away for our club! Why can't we keep our players healthy? It's starting to go over into our everyday players now too - not just our young pitchers.

Before the game they said that if Hardy doesn't have surgry 4 to 6 weeks minimum. I guess he torn his labrum. I may be wrong cuz I didn't write it down but i am pretty sure that is what they said.

Erdos came in and set them down in order in the 8th. But the Indians provided no threat in the 9th, striking out 3 times in a row, and lose 3-2.

Hart was not in the lineup.

I only heard speculation about Hardy, nothing definite. They talked as though surgery is a definite possibility, and that if surgery was performed, it would probably cost him the rest of the season.

That sucks. That's all there is to it.

Why can't this organization ever catch a break???? First Parra, then Krynzel, then Jones, and now JJ!! What is happening? JJ hurts the most because i was seriously hoping to see him make his debut this year. Now it would look like a long shot if this labrum thing is true. Ughhh!!

Seems like the Injury bug Bypassed the major league team and went straight to the minors. It also went after the Top Prospects with major Injuries.

David out till at least July

Hardy out possible 4-6 weeks with the Crew luck it be longer At least Bill Hall has played Well.

Parra just getting started and Jones who seems can"t get untracked and might be down for a while.

Tough luck with the Top Prospects.

Hardy injury should worry people since its reported to be the same shoulder he hurt earlier.

It seems like Chris Michlak has had a few rough outings and people are now not rushing for him to get a call up

Yikes,

HD was up 3-2 in the 8th but gave up 7 runs.

Question for you minor league experts.

Does HD have any chance at ever becoming decent?

Im assuming they will inherit some Beloit guys after the June draft, but does anyone have a clue if and who it would be?

Someone like a Dana Eveland making a move before AA next year?

you guys didnt actually think that now because we have a top minor league program wed actually changed our luck?

This orgranization has been stuck in futility for decades and it will prolly stay that way.

Ive accepted the fact that we, the brewers, will never see a playoff game played in Milwaukee, probably ever again.

AHHHHHHHHH!! Frustration mounts as prospects drop!

Good God, you people are whiners. Other teams have it just as rough, if the farm system wasn't so good in the first place, it wouldn't hurt to see these great prospects go down. Parra is back, Diggins and Bruso will be back soon, Krynzel will be back before the season is over. The injuries that scare me are the ones like Jones and Ballouli, arm soreness could turn out to be anything. At least we know what Hardy's injury is...and they are going to fix it. He is a 21 year old who was showing that he can hold his own in AAA, barring any more setbacks, he'll still be in the big show very soon.
