I was sitting right on the first base line when it happened.

It wasn't a tough play, it was completely routine and Rickie simply choked.Prince didn't have a chance with it.

The only real mystery here is why the Huntsville scorer continually distorts the scoresheet to avoid giving Rickie errors. In this case you have to feel sorry for Paul Stewart.

The real crime of the night doesn't get mentioned. Ryan Knox sent limping out to pinch hit in the 10th! The guy obviously wan't fit to bat. Why on earth are we putting his recovery at risk for the sake of one lousy at bat. Even if he had got a hit, he didn't look capable of running the bases.

I know we're supposed to be getting some cover today, but this situation has dragged on too long for no reason.

I'd just like to add my belated "oy vei" regarding the perfect game. I caught the box score late last night, and slowly and horrifically realized what was happening. Lesson #1 in why you can't necessarily trust college talent to transfer over to A-ball.
