good analysis as usual. But regarding Stars starting rotation for 2nd half.

Don't you think that there must be some thought of moving Saenz to Indy??

And how about Ford when he gets all the way back. Don't you think the organization wants more than AA out of a guy that was a Rule 5 2 years ago??... Quickly!!??

First, Ford was a Rule Five LAST year. And got hurt in the second half of it, and is just now getting fully healthy. Hes definately staying in AA the rest of the year.

 

With their rotation issues, Saenz is the logical choice to move up since he did well in Mil, but again, here is a guy who in in high A ball just last year, so it would be a major move.

 

I personally think that when Jones is ready, they move him to AAA.

From the inside dope I've been able to get, nothing is in the works for a quick promotion for Ford, Saenz, Jones, Sarfate, or anyone on the pitching staff. I wish we could get Gemoll back or somebody to get us an extra bat in the lineup, but that's how it stands. I guess Milwaukee considers Saenz' success at the dish this year an extra bat.
