hey Mass, would it be possible to find the RA and RS for each of the Brewers' affiliates? I would try looking, but my connection is too slow to mess around with the MILB.com site. If it's hard to find though, don't worry about it.

Go to this link, and pull up the "All Batters" and "All Pitchers" link for the respective leagues. You'll need your calculator to add up the "runs" columns, but that's not bad.

Unlike MILB.com, this USA Today link shows stats for any player who played for the team this year -- for instance, Russell Branyan is included in Nashville's numbers.

I went here and clicked on Team Batting and Team Pitching.

Does anyone else think that Wahpepah is starting to wear down? It seems like he was going strong for awhile, but once he crossed the 100 IP mark, has seemed to struggle? Does anyone have perspective on this?

Quote:
Guy in Shades gets another start in CF, with Krynzel in RF...could this be an audition for Magruder's roster spot?

You mean Cruz or Hart? Anyways, I sure hope you're right. It's so obvious how lousy Ruder is and I'm sure Melvin is soon to demote him and promote Cruz or Hart.

It's Hart (don't mess around!), making his second start in CF this week. Just saw an article on milwaukeebrewers.com saying that Clark is day-to-day, so its hard to say if this is a long term move.

I'll go on record saying that I hope it is.

Final: Lexington (Astros) 12, West Virginia 1

The Power have lost some lopsided home games recently...

West Virginia Site Game Summary:

Power surrender five homers in loss to Lexington

Charleston, WV ? The Lexington Legends and West Virginia Power both entered Thursday night?s game with three game winning streaks, and records of 24-20. Lexington?s offense exploded, scoring 12 runs on 18 hits and the Legends beat the Power 12-1.

The scoring started in the first inning when Beau Torbert smacked an RBI double to give the Legends an early 1-0 lead. Lexington scored three times in the third inning. Drew Sutton hit a solo shot and Mitch Einertson smacked a two- run double to make it a 4-0 Lexington lead.

The Power scored their only run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning on Hasan Rasheed?s RBI single. It was a 4-1 game until Einertson and Lou Santangelo hit back-to-back RBI singles in the fifth inning to give Lexington a 6-1 lead. Sutton hit his second home run of the game in the top of the sixth inning - the solo shot made it a 7-1 game. In the seventh Bryan Triplett knocked in a run on a sacrifice fly. The Legends hit three home runs in the top of the ninth inning. Ryan Reed and Francisco Caraballo both hit solo shots and Santangelo hit a two-run blast in the final frame.

Grant Richardson went 1 for 4 in the game, marking the 29th straight game that he has reached base safely.

Paul Estrada (4-7) earned the victory, and Eric Thomas (0-1) obtained the loss. The Power are 24-21 in the second half after the loss and the Legends move to 25-20 with the win.

The Power will continue the four game series with Lexington on Friday night at Appalachian Power Park. The Power will throw LHP Derek Miller (0-0, 0.00) and Lexington will counter with RHP Evan Englebrook (7-4, 4.12). The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM (6:05 Central).

West Virginia Box Score:

RHP Justin Barnes' uncharacteristic three-gopher ball inning is reminiscient of that of another top prospect's one bad outing -- Will Inman in Helena -- hey, it happens...
