Is it your opinion that Lo Cain broke out again last year? I'm expecting an Escobar like break out from him in AA in terms of BA, his power numbers should be much better.

Brewer has been pretty impressive since July, there's no doubt.

I think lorenzo really broke out last year for certain and this year its going to be brent.

Josh, how common is it for players (particularly pitchers) to insure against injury? Are there quite a few pitchers who insure their arms, or only a handful of the really good ones, or almost none at all? Would that be something a player would wait to do, if at all, until they are in the big leagues?

Josh's collection of Brewers has had a tough season, it's hard to find even one bright spot -- I'm pretty sure he's doing his best to be patient and stay positive:

Luis Pena -- loses his 40-man spot with Seattle, makes one appearance at AA, on the DL since

Omar Aguilar -- not posting the numbers we're accustomed to after the oblique strain DL stint, and doing so at AA, not AAA

Alex Periard -- not even sure he's thrown off a mound yet in '09 with shoulder "something"

Lorenzo Cain -- first a hamstring, then the knee, fortunately avoids surgery

Jeremy Jeffress -- at least he's healthy, even if some of his numbers aren't

Taylor Green -- we were hoping for a May return from the wrist injury, but it looks like June, and post-wrist comebacks are tricky

Brent Brewer -- he's healthy but his game isn't, at least for now -- 2008's Fall League stint but a memory at this point

Brae Wright -- season lost to Tommy John surgery

Corey Frerichs -- season lost to ACL injury

Stephen Chapman -- released by the Brewers, playing in low-A for Cincinnati

Nick Tyson -- just added to the Wisconsin roster

Cam Robulack -- released by Brewers

Chris Dennis -- was a surprise omission from Wisconsin's Opening Day roster, is hopefully healthy and primed to dominate Helena

Kristian Bueno -- the 20-year-old lefty should open with Helena rather than the Arizona kids

That is some ridiculous bad luck, he must represent half the guys who are sidelined right now.

Awesome! Any tidbits for us on Cain or Green pretty please?

Dennis going to Wisconsin is good news for him but it's bad news for the Brewers because what it really means is that Komatsu is probably really hurt and is not going back there anytime soon. Too bad for Komo and good luck to Chris and hopefully Erik will make a speedy recovery.

It sure is nice to see Taylor Green back in the lineup. How long is he going to be in Wisconsin before he gets bumped to Huntsville?

A couple of weeks, according to the reports in the Post-Crescent we pointed to today....

You really won't even pitch in & comment on a guy's velocity? That doesn't seem to have anything to do with whether you represent him or not.

No, I wont, I dont comment on players I have no affiliation with. It doesnt seem appropriate.
