Nashville Ballpark: Latest -- Sounds Sold; Focus for now is on Greer Stadium improvements

I went to see Belmont and Vanderbilt play there last week and considering the place is 32 years old, it looks GREAT. The concession stand was much better than it had been and there's an actual concession company running it. (Hopefully there won't be anymore 1st game of the homestand "Sorry we're out of hotdogs" nights now that the inept former owners aren't in charge!) I didn't venture into the restrooms, but those who went to the open house Saturday were impressed with the improvements. The new owners have made good on everything they've promised, plus some, which is something the fans aren't used to thanks to the previous owners. I hope those who have quit coming out will at least give them a chance. I am ready for the opener Thursday night.

Latest on what the $2.5 million of improvements at Greer went towards

Some of the comments, like "The pitching mounds at Greer are being upgraded to standard," made me laugh. Looks much better, though.
