Mass, that's great to hear that his fastball is still there. Do they have him down to focusing on 3 or 4 pitches, or does he still try like 8 pitches?

 

I wonder if any of these guys could be bullpen options, as the Brewers will have short relief and setup issues in August and September (and next year). It also will be quite interesting to see how they handle these pitchers. Do they move Bush to relief next year or deal him? Vargas will be gone. I like Cappy, but do they try to move him? Lots of fun questions, and it's great that they are made more complex through the success of the minor leaguers.

I think Thatcher and Parra would be a pretty impressive lefty combo out in the pen for the next few years. As for trading Manny, his stock can't be all that high, can it? Maybe if he goes this entire year injury-free.

I keep imagining Matt Thornton, minus a tick or two, with Manny Parra, though I hope we are able to take advantage of the young hurler, as opposed to Matt's trail to the bigs.

Wasn't Manny on the Blast from the Past a few weeks back? How many of those guys make it to the Hot Sheet? It seems the Blast from the Past is former prospects who have a nice run. Hopefully Manny will prove he is a current prospect.
