This guy named al and several others got pissed off at useless posting on the espn board, so this guy called phearinc decided to start his own brewers website...i registered at it because all the good conversation joined hands and left the espn boards....about 3 years ago..

I was a lurker at ESPN way back in the day.

Ditto. But I did lose touch for about six months during the .com debacle. (I just wouldn't let myself believe your site would turn into a site hawking beer making supplies and other crap, so I kept looking for your site and luckily did stumble accross the site again.) Those 6 months without brewerfan were dark times.

I lurked and occasionally posted on ESPN 2 years ago. It was right around the time that Big Reed was starting arguments with everyone over here, so finally I decided to check out the "evil Brewerfan" site they kept talking about. Only ever checked ESPN a couple of more times and it seemed like each time I went back there was a similar argument going on, so I posted that I thought it was lame to engage in a "posting war" and vowed that I would never return. I have kept my word and am very happy with Brewerfan.net

It was horrible, wasn't it?

Thanks again, Brian.

I used to post back in the day on ESPN board, back when Al The Thinking Man was toyboy29. Then I got an email from Jasonv420? I think his name was (whatever happened to him?), telling me to come to brewerfan.net, and at the time I was extremely busy and didn't really spend too much time on any message boards, but I finally made it over here.

My message board days began at Yahoo! in early 2003. I was not fulfilled. Eventually, I went to the official Brewers site. It was much better than Yahoo's board. I found a guy "Phearinc" who seemed to know a thing or two about baseball. His profile linked me to this site.

I probably came here nearly everyday for about a year and a half before I finally posted something. I enjoy reading everyone's post. I've also looked at ESPN and J-S online's message boards but they aren't that great. Just people telling everyone how stupid anyone that doesn't agree w/ them is. I think some people's biggest goal in life are to fight w/ people on message boards.

I also post on the official Brewer site under the name Hansol

I was posting on the Brewers site and Brian (aka Phearinc) mentioned this site a few times and I made the switch. I haven't posted over there in over a year I think.
