Brewerfan Mention in Baseball Prospectus

Hey, not sure if this was brought up in a different thread...

In Baseball Prospectus 2005, on page 138, the text accompanying Callix Crabbe reads:

"And, thanks to the indispensable BrewerFan.net, one of the best team-specific references on the web, we also know that he strides to the plate to the tunes of Sean Paul's "Like Glue."

Wow. Nice job, Brian. Mention in Baseball Prospectus...

Dave Cameron, a big supporter and occasional lurker, who is also a writer for U.S.S. Mariner, wrote the Brewers report. He assured me a month or two ago that he wanted to get a Brewerfan.net reference somewhere. I'm happy to hear that it did indeed make it in.

Got my copy of BP 2005, and sure as heck, Brewerfan.net gets the mention on page 138 as advertised! Great seeing the site in print!

I have to say, I ordered the book solely for that reason, but now I can't put it down. Yeah, it's loaded with great info, but what makes it worth the money are the player capsules for players that suck. Oh my god, they're just BRUTAL. It's most excellent. By all means, pick up a copy.

Bits of capsules for Rey Ordonez and Neifi Perez

"Ordonez did everytying in his power to counteract whatever momentum he might have gained from his 2003 campaign, a hot start fortuitously shortened by injury that some were mistaking for a breakout year..."

"It's not that Neifi Perez is completely useless..."
