forums question

I see there are 20 pages in each forum...is that just my browser? I am wondering, because if anyone actually reads my posts, they'll notice I'm raving about how Krynzel's new stance is enabling him to be a much better player. I was wondering if it'd be possible to find my posts from the '03 Fall League when I first saw him just to show the comparison

Thanks Mass, that's awesome. I'm reading my notes, and here's some things that come to mind:

1) Hardy-- "One final thing to note...after one out, he was holding his left shoulder, but stayed in the game. Perhaps he tweaked it on the swing, but it appeared to be nothing serious."

I guess that was his shoulder injury that caused him to miss most of 2004.

"My first impression of Hardy is that he's for real. He has a classic batting stance, somewhat reminiscent of Jeff Cirillo in that he crouches a bit, with the bat very still. He took a lot of pitches and fouled off some tough ones"

That's pretty much what I wrote the other day about his stance and approach.

2) Krynzel--"If I had to compare his stance to a current big leaguer, it would be Craig Counsell. Another one that came to mind was Brady Anderson. The keys to the comparisons were that David stands kind of upright and holds his bat vertically, not at more of a 45-degree angle."

and

"What really seems to limit him is his stance. Anyone who plays golf knows that the most important part of the swing is the setup, especially posture. If you don't give yourself a chance to succeed, you can't. It would seem that analogy works well here for David. He doesn't appear to get his legs or hips into his swing. Instead he relies solely on his hands and arms to both make contact and generate power, and it seems that his setup doesn't help"

Basically, this is similar to what I thought I had written. Another name I would compare his old stance to is David Hulse. Now like Pods.

I'll post a lengthier version of this soon in the MLB forum. Who knows, maybe I'll feel ambitious one night and make it a cover story
