What does the line under your name mean?

I have wondered this for a while, and now I'm finally asking, under some people's name it says Brewerfan.net All Star, others it says Brewerfan.net regular, and most it says Brewerfan.net member, and I understand that the people who help run the site have names like moderator and stuff like that, but any clarifacation would be nice, Thank you.

Originally, your posting "status" would change based on the number of posts you make. Persons with 0-100 posts were Rookies, 101-1000 were Regulars, and 1001+ All-Stars.

 

This system was altered last year, so that "rookies" wouldn't feel intimidated and "all-stars" wouldn't get too big a head. Everyone at that point became "members"...except site staff, and a handful of posters whose previous status (rookie/regular/all-star) has for some mysterious ezboard reason still stuck.

I was only like 50 posts from becoming a BF.net All-Star before the system was changed. Now I am forever stuck as a BF.net Regular...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

The reason this was changed was so people didn't feel there was any need to post for no other reason than just to get their posting total up. There is no class system here, as someone with 3 posts has just as much clout as someone with 3,000, and there are no prizes or pats on the back for reaching certain totals.
