Looks like he was the Cal pitcher of the year. He’s a 22-year-old in A ball, so hopefully he can advance quickly.

He has 2 options left according to Fangraphs. I’m guessing Brewers just think his arm is never going to get back to what it was after all the injuries.

This is definitely one of those, trade offer was so good you had to accept it. 

A Ball numbers and  height on the Freddy Peralta similarity line.  6Hits/9  4BB/11Ks per 9.  I wonder if he's a 40man rule 5 protection require since he began in 2018.  Still about 2 years away.  (Checked he wasn't this offseason, but I would assume next the Brewers would need to add him)
