Fanfest Information - UPDATED WITH PARKING INFO

The Fanfest 2006 order form is up and running!

www.brewerfan.net/ViewFanfest2006.action

Fanfest is scheduled for June 17, with the Brewers playing the Indians. The game starts at 6:05 pm. You can start arriving at our picnic spaces at 2:30 pm.

You can pay by credit card, or contact me via inbox to set up other arrangements. I know that in past years we've taken payments right up to and at Fanfest, but this year we need payment IN ADVANCE. As Fanfest has grown, there is a huge outlay of money required. This is why we need your payment by JUNE 1ST. I can make an exception for extenuating circumstances if you contact me via my inbox.

We have 25 premium (Gold) Fanfest packages available, which includes all you can eat food, a Fanfest 2006 T-shirt, and your game ticket. The 25 premium package tickets are located in a block so we can get a little TV action, plus you can opt to hold one of colbyjack's snazzy signs! This is first come, first served. The only thing you will need to pay for is parking, and anything you want inside of Miller Park.

There are also Silver and Bronze packages available for those who already have tickets, or don't want a t-shirt. Within the next week or two (hopefully), we will post the T-shirt design in the store for those of you that can't attend but want one of Patrick's awesome designs.

We will not be ordering the T-shirts that are included in the packages from Cafepress.com, to keep the cost down. You can pick up your T-shirts on the day of Fanfest, and I will mail your tickets to you. I'll need all of the people who order packages with T-shirts to message my Inbox with the sizes you want, and with the address that you want your tickets sent to.

The tickets are located in Terrace Reserved section 430, rows 13-17, seats 16-20. Seat 20 in each row is an aisle seat. We will be having 2 picnic spaces for tailgating. They should be in a similar place to last year. I will get the exact location when the final payment is made to the Brewers. Once again, we will have 2 blue tents with a Brewerfan.net banner attached.

Updates will be posted as I get more information.

We received the Fanfest tickets from the Brewers today. If you have paid for a package and provided me with a name and address, your tickets went out in the mail today. Let me know if you don't receive them by Friday afternoon.

For everyone else...we have only 8 tickets left for the gold package (food, t-shirt, ticket). If we run out, you can still purchase tickets on your own. We are in a 5x5 block in section 430, rows 13-17, seats 16-20 if you want to sit nearby. Food and t-shirts only packages can be purchased until June 1st. That is the day that we place our order for t-shirts and supplies. Please see the link in the message above if you still need to order. If there are extenuating circumstances, please feel free to send me an inbox message and we can try to work something out.

EDIT:

As far as t-shirt sizes go...we have adult sizes only: S,M,L,XL,2X,3X. I'm guessing that the small should be fine for most kids.

Falls on mine and my cousin's b-day party again. I'll stumble around the parking lot looking for you again. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this time.

What historic event will take place on this year's fanfest? Don't you have a string going?

The tailgate grids are located in the River East Parking Lot (Mets & Dodgers Lot). This lot is located SE of Miller Park, and is bordered by Selig Drive and Frederick Miller Way. I believe that the correct exit is the Miller Park Way exit. Just look for the General Parking signs. The tailgate spaces are not assigned until we arrive, so just look for our 2 blue tents and Brewerfan.net banner. You can park in general parking in the Mets & Dodgers lots, and the tailgate area is located in the center of those lots. The official form states that you can start arriving at 3:35pm, but the sales rep I spoke to said that they will start letting you in after 2:30pm. You can listen to 1180 AM for Brewers traffic info.

Other Info:

The closest restrooms to the tailgate area are located in the Sausage Haus.

All tailgating must end by the BEGINNING of the game. The Brewers will not allow us to remain in the tailgate grid after the game starts.

The Brewers have made it clear in the information they provided to us that we ALL can be removed for misconduct on the part of ONE person. I doubt we'll need to be concerned with that, but it's just a fair warning.

See y'all Saturday!

Is there a roll call (or I suppose roster) for the shindig? I'm just curious to know who we'll see/meet...besides brewerjamie, brewermary and the increasingly famous Kapelluscheseses. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Phrases that aren't allowed:

* Ben Sheets is not an ace

* Branyan and Ginter always sucked

* There's no such thing as clutch hitters

* Strike outs don't matter

If we can all agree to these simple rules, I'm sure we can all have some fun!

I am curious if you always check to ensure that this is my weekend to work.

I believe it's MLB who checks before creating the Brewers' home schedule. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I'll be leaving soon after the Czech Republic vs. Ghana game is over, so I should be there pretty early.

I must warn everyone that, as amazing as it may seem, I'm probably one of the less talkative people you'll ever meet.

[ My wife and I will try to be there bright and squirrely at 2:30, I really hope they let us in at that time, and do we need to bring lawnchairs with us or will there be ones there? ]

As soon as there are like a few cars there, they generally let people in.

You only need to bring yourselves, as we have plenty of seating, tables, etc, etc, etc. I look forward to meeting you.

I've got an extra ticket that I'll be bringing along if someone needs it. Ticket is for a gold package, minus beer (you'd have to fork out a few bucks for a beer cup).

Package is minus the shirt. TIcket is how ever much you wanna gimmie.

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.
